3. Betting rules

3.1 Players can place bets on markets with two or more possible outcomes.

3.2 Bets on sports events can be placed before they start (pre-match) or after they start (live betting).

3.3 Betting is performed by choosing one or more of the offered markets from the bookmaker’s sportsbook and by deciding on the stake amount. Bet is placed, closed and accepted by clicking on the PLACE BET/CONFIRM button on the bet slip.

3.4 In specific situations special betting rules apply to certain types of sport and betting markets. These special betting rules have preference over the general betting rules.

3.5 You can place single, combination (accumulated) or system bets. Certain bets cannot be combined into combination or system bets.

3.5.1 Single bet
Single bet is a bet containing one bet, or several bets that are processed separately. Each bet is placed with a separate stake amount. Sum of all separate stakes shows the total stake amount. If the bet is won, the player receives each winnings separately, by multiplying odds of each bet with the respective stake amount. Total winnings are calculated as the sum of all individual winnings.

3.5.2 Combination bet
Combination bet (accumulator) is a bet containing two or more bets processed as one bet. To win a combination bet, Player has to win all the bets in it. One combination bet may not contain two or more bets on the same event. If it contains two or more bets on the same event, the bet automatically splits into several combinations and effectively becomes a system bet. Total possible winnings of a combination bet are calculated by multiplying all odds and the stake amount.

3.5.3 System bet
System bet is a bet containing several combinations of selected bets. A system bet is defined by the number of bets in a combination (A) and the total number of bets on the bet slip (B). The system bet is presented in A/B form.
If you want a certain bet to be a part of all combinations, you have to mark it as a Banker.
Two or more bets on the same event cannot be placed in the same combination. If a player places several such bets, all combinations containing two or more of these bets will be removed from the final calculation.
The stake amount per combination is calculated by dividing the total stake by the number of combinations. To win a system, a player has to win at least one of the combinations. Total winnings are calculated as the sum of all winning combinations.

3.6 The result after normal game time (plus possible injury time added by the official referee, e.g. in football) applies for all sports. Final results after extra time or penalty shoot-outs do not affect the evaluation of winnings. Exceptions to this are made known either at betting markets or in special rulings for the sports.

3.7 Bets are processed after the market or event result is determined. For betting purposes only the result at the end of the event and confirmed by official referee on pitch counts as official score for bet evaluation. All later official changes of the result (player/team disqualification, result overruling, etc.) cannot affect the bet evaluation.

3.8 If a betting event, for any reason whatsoever, does not take place as scheduled and is not finished within 48 hours, bets will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds). If a betting event is postponed and rescheduled at a date outside the following 48 hours, all bets on that event can be refunded immediately.

3.9 If a betting event starts, but – for any reason whatsoever – ends without an official score and is not finished within 48 hours, all bets that depend on end result will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds). The bets depending on time periods that have been finished in full before the event suspension (e.g. 1st halftime, 1st set, etc.) will be processed normally in accordance with the results pertinent to the bets in question.

3.10 If during an event a participant withdraws or is disqualified, all bets in which the outcome is still open are processed with 1.00 odds. All bets on markets that have already been decided before the event suspension (e.g. Over/Under, Team to score, etc.) will be processed normally in accordance with the results pertinent to the bets in question.

3.11 If the event has started before the betting program scheduled time and is not offered in live betting, then all bets placed after the actual start of the event will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).

3.12 A bet that is a part of a multiple (combination or system) bet and is placed on an event that does not start, is cancelled, suspended, or does not take place for other reasons and is not played by the end of calendar day two days later, will be processed with 1.00 odds.

3.13 All bets on events that have been wrongly listed in the betting program (e.g. odds list, wrong venue) will be processed with 1.00 odds. This is not the case if any team decides to relinquish their home advantage, if the home team's venue is out of action, or if the betting event is transferred to a neutral ground.

3.14 If an event is finished with the score not offered on the list of possible outcomes for a certain market, all bets on that market will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).

3.15 If all events in a multiple (combination or system) bet are cancelled, suspended, do not start or take place for other reasons and are not transferred as described above, the combination bet is refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).

3.16 If none of the starters on which bets have been placed in a multiple bet take part in the betting events or if all the events on which bets have been placed in a multiple bet are called off, suspended or cancelled or if they do not take place for whatever reason, and the event is not transferred as described above, the stakes will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).

3.17 Bets that are called off or refunded (processed with 1.00 odds) are excluded from all promotions.

3.18 Ante-post bets

3.18.1 In general ante-post bets are offered for the turnout of tournaments or championships containing several events. For example, the bet could be offered in the form of a question:

a) Which football team will win the World Cup?

b) Who will win the Wimbledon tennis tournament?

c) Which team will be relegated in the German Bundesliga?

Ante-post bets offer does not have to include all tournament participants.

3.18.2 Ante-post bets are offered regardless of whether or not all participants are listed or take part. All stakes for ante-post bets are lost if the participant or team, on which the bet was placed, fails to take part or gives up.

3.18.3 The actual result is based on the last event (e.g. final match or last day of play) at midnight (local event time). Changes to the result made after this point – regardless of the reason – have no effect on the evaluation of the betting event.

3.18.4 If two or more participants share a particular final position, the rates/odds are divided by the number of participants sharing the position.

3.19 Live betting

3.19.1 Live bets are bets that are explicitly open to betting after the event has begun. The odds are continuously updated based on the event action in real time. Bets marked with "HT" are only offered during the half-time break.

3.19.2 Once a live bet was accepted it can no longer be cancelled.

3.19.3. Bets offered in live betting on an event without an official evaluation are declared invalid. Exceptions are bets which were decided before the point at which the match was stopped. These are evaluated according to the respective outcome, irrespective of the course of the remainder of the match.

3.19.4 If data transmission is delayed and/or TV reporting is time-delayed during live bets, resulting in a major change in the run of play not being taken into account in the odds, Apuestas Jockey reserves the right to evaluate any bets placed as invalid (process them with 1.00 odds).

3.19.5 For every live bet, the current result/latest score is always quoted. The event bet on is invalid if the latest score quoted is significantly incorrect.

3.19.6 If for any reason whatsoever the system accepts bets on events or markets that have already been decided, all such bets will be evaluated as invalid and the stakes will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).

3.19.7 In case of obvious errors we reserve the right to declare all affected bets invalid and refund all stakes (process them with 1.00 odds).

3.19.8 The rules valid for sports in these betting conditions are valid for live bet sports as well.

4. Sports betting rules

There are specific betting offers and odds criteria for every sport. The following lists the most popular and most frequently offered sports. Apuestas Jockey also offers odds for other types of sport (e.g. boxing) depending on the type and schedule of events. The general betting terms and conditions apply to sports not listed.

4.1 Football / Soccer
Bets offered on all soccer matches are based on the score at the end of normal playing time. The term "normal playing time" refers to match time plus the time added by the referee for stoppages, but not possible extra time or penalty shoot-outs. The usual normal playing time in football matches is 90 minutes, split into two halves of 45 minutes. In special cases, such as youth or friendly matches, a match can have more or less than two periods, or the half time can be longer or shorter than 45 minutes. If the match is played on neutral ground the team listed on the left is the home team and the team listed on the right is the away team. Markets based on bookings and booking points are based on the following calculations:

  • Yellow card = 1 booking = 10 points

  • Red card = 2 bookings = 25 points

  • Yellow + yellow cards leading to a red card = 3 bookings = 35 points

  • Yellow + direct red card = 3 bookings = 35 points

4.2 Ice Hockey
3-way bets offered on ice hockey matches are based on the score at the end of normal playing time. The term "normal playing time" refers to a 60-minute match (3x20min), not a possible extra time or penalties etc. 2-way (money line) markets are processed according to the result at the end of the match, including possible extra time and penalties. Bets on markets marked as including "extra time" (over time, OT) always include penalties. If the result is a draw even after extra time, the team winning the penalties will have one goal added to their overtime score to determine the final result.

4.3 American Sports (NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB)
Unless expressly stated to the contrary, bets offered on American Sports are based on the score at the end of normal playing time. In baseball, all bets are based on the official match result, including all additional innings. In American football, markets based on the official time periods of the match and match result are based on the result at the end of normal time for each relevant period, (60 minutes play, 2 halves of 30 minutes, 4 quarters of 15 minutes). All other bets are based on the official match result, including overtime. If a match is a tie after overtime then all 2-way bets will be void. If a betting event, for any reason whatsoever, does not take place as scheduled or is interrupted and is not finished within 48 hours, or ends without an official score, bets will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).

4.4 Tennis
If a match is interrupted or postponed, the bet remains valid for the tournament until the match has actually been played. If the match is not part of a tournament, the match will be evaluated as invalid (all unresolved bets will be processed with 1.00 odds) unless it has been replayed or continued within 24 hours. For the purposes of all total games and handicap markets a tie-break or match tie-break is counted as one game.

4.5 Basketball
3-way markets are processed according to the result at the end of the normal playing time, i.e. the end of the fourth quarter. Results after possible extra are not considered. 2-way (money line) markets are processed according to the result at the end of the match, including possible extra time.

4.6 Baseball

All baseball markets are processed according to the result at the end of the match, which includes possible extra innings.

4.7 American football
Markets based on the time periods of the match will be processed according to the result at the end of the period (60 minutes play, 2 halves of 30 minutes, 4 quarters of 15 minutes). All other markets are based on the result at the end of the match, including possible overtime. If a match is tie after overtime, all 2-way (money line) bets will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).

4.8 Group racing (formula, cars, motorbikes, cycling, etc.)
If in 2-way (head to head) bets only one participant finishes the race, he will be considered the winner, under condition that both participants subject to the bet in question have started the race. If none of the starting participants finish the race, all bets will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).

4.9 Winter Sports (Alpine Skiing, Ski Jumping, Biathlon, Cross-Country) – head to head (H2H)
The bet is active only if both participants subject to the bet start the race (e.g. leave starting stand, make the jump, start course, etc.). The H2H winner is determined by comparing the results of both participants listed at the end of the competition. If one participant subject to the bet is forced to withdraw for any reason, the other participant subject to the bet will be considered the winner. If neither participant subject to the bet completes the event, all bets will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds). If both participants subject to the bet have the same score or result, all bets will be refunded (processed with 1.00 odds).
